The program involves online technology including participating in an email discussion team, a personal habit-tracking questionnaire and an online personal biography.
Changing your habits seems like a big undertaking, but with support and the information to make the right decisions, we know we can go a long way together. If you have questions about the time commitment or any other aspect of the project, contact us at info(at)smartsoul(dot)com.
Program Curriculum:
Although the majority of the program will be presented and tracked online there will be a participatory orientation day, two optional field trips and a final celebration.
Program Launch:
The program launch is a day-long hands on, information and action packed orientation.
Energize your team's interaction by participating in ecological assessments
that are filled with fun and play. We will explore how to do a home energy audit,
assess what you really throw away, have an amazing raw food lunch and discover
the environmental benefits of rethinking your transportation habits.
Weekly Topics:
Everyone will be subscribed to a team email list. Each week your coach will send out an email announcement pertaining to the weekly environmental topic. Your online discussion team will provide a forum for you to engage with the material presented. You will be able to share how you are personally implementing what you are learning and discuss any obstacles you encounter while changing your lifestyle practices. The discussion team will also allow team members to provide encouragement to each other and create a shared vision of community. Each team will have a coach to monitor the email list as well as provide support and encourage discussion.
Each week the email teams will review a segment of the curriculum presented
at the orientation.

The SmartSoul Path is developing a questionnaire to track lifestyle habits
and identify personal areas of strength and weakness in sustainable living.
Participants will fill out this questionnaire at the beginning and at the end
of the program. By completing the questionnaire twice participants are able
to assess and see what changes they have made and the impact those choices will
have in the world. This information will also aid SmartSoul in tracking the
progress of each team and the enrollment as a whole.
